Holyrood Street Interpretive Lighting

Working closely with public artist Anna Crane, Publik was engaged to design and fabricate purpose built projector housings as part of an overall interpretation project for the Town of Cambridge.  Anna’s idea to thoughtfully project local heritage images using the trunks of the existing splendid Moreton Bay Fig trees that line this heritage listed street was a first for Western Australia.

Publik carefully designed the housing in response to the artist’s brief, and the resulting configuration on either side of Holyrood Street creates a subtly illuminated entry statement when arriving via Cambridge Street.
