Burlganjya Wanggaya – Old People Talking

is an exhibition that unites and reflects the culture and stories of the five main Aboriginal language groups of the region; Yinggarda, Bayungu, Malgana, Thadgari and Thalanyji. The exhibition creates a place of ownership for Aboriginal people to share their story and where visitors of all cultures can feel a connection, and take away with them an understanding of culture.

The entire exhibition graphic delivery was managed, produced and installed by Publik. This included design and fabrication of furniture to house interactive media, large scale environmental graphics, decorative engraved aluminium pieces and feature entry signage incorporating a hand painted artwork by local artist Antoinette Roe.
